Pittsburgh Adoption Support Group
The Pittsburgh Adoption Support Group meets at our church monthly. The group includes people who are waiting to adopt, are exploring the possibility of adopting or have successfully adopted. PASG is dedicated to helping prospective adoptive parents make their way through the often stressful and bewildering world of adoption. The goal of the group is to provide both insight and empathy to members, and make them realize that they are by no means alone.

Monthly speakers discuss issues relevant to adoption. Past guest speakers have included pediatricians, birth mothers, social workers, and attorneys. Members may also raise their individual concerns during open meetings or request one-on-one assistance from others in the group. One meeting a year is set aside just for those who are waiting to adopt their first child.

If you or someone you know would be interested in joining the Pittsburgh Adoption Support Group, please contact Patty Bontempo at 412-767-4250. For further details, please check our website at www.geocities.com/pghadoptsg.
