Annual Meeting of the Congregation
The Etna Congregational Church meets each year on the third Sunday of February to review the annual report from the previous year and prepare for the upcoming year. The meeting takes place after Sunday worship at 11:30 AM and includes lunch.
NACCC Annual Meeting
Annual Meeting of the National Association of Christian Congregational Churches. Date and location for 2008 is June 22nd to 24th in Plymouth, Massachusettes.
Church Council Meetings
The Church Council consist of elected volunteers who serve for two-year terms. The Church Council makes decisions regarding the operations of the Church according to the Church by-laws. Operations include the mission and vision, the property, the building, the activities, and the finances. Church Council meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM or as set forth by President of Church Council.
Adult Christian Education
Meets every Sunday before service at 9:15 AM and is open to anyone who is interested.
Sunday School
Meets during Sunday service in which children are excused after the second hymn and is open to children of all ages including a nursery for infants during the entire service.
Neighborhood Nights
Occur every other Thursday night outside the church weather permitting (or inside in the Community Room on the first floor) from about 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Free food and fun for members of the Etna Community. Come and meet members of the First Congregational Church of Etna who are priveleged to be a part of your community.
